Questions you might have
What does it cost?
By length: 1 credit (about $0.10) per started 10 minutes of subtitles, so an hour-long video is 6 credits. No subscription; credits last 12 months. If translation fails, the credits come back automatically.
How good is the translation?
A large language model translates whole sentences by meaning, which reads far more naturally than word-by-word machine translation, and keeps lines short like the original. It can still make mistakes, so proofread anything important; the subtitle editor is one click away.
Do bilingual subtitles just work?
Yes. Each cue gets two lines, original and translation, with identical timing. YouTube and most players show both. To put them in the picture, burn them into the video next.
Are my subtitles stored?
The text is sent to our server and the translation model only while translating and isn't kept afterwards.
