Questions you might have
Can I get a plain transcript too?
Yes. Every job produces both SRT subtitles and a TXT transcript — handy for notes, articles or meeting minutes.
Which formats and lengths work?
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MP3, M4A, WAV and other common audio/video formats. Up to 20 minutes free, up to 90 minutes paid.
Is my video uploaded to your servers?
No. Your browser extracts the audio track on your computer and uploads only that small audio file. The audio is deleted as soon as it's processed; subtitle files are kept for 24 hours, then deleted. We never train models on your files.
Which languages are supported?
English and Chinese (Simplified output) work best. Choose "Detect automatically" for other languages.
How accurate are the subtitles?
Subtitles are generated automatically with no human review. Clear English and Mandarin recordings come out very well, but accuracy isn't guaranteed — check names and terms before publishing.
Is it free? When do I pay?
Videos up to 10 minutes are free with no sign-in, up to 3 per IP each day — the result shows right on the page. Signed-in users get 60 free minutes each month, with a 20-minute limit per file. Longer files, more monthly usage, or priority processing use credits at 1 per 10 minutes. When we're busy, free jobs wait a little longer.
